An increasing number of people are entering the digital world daily causing a huge data explosion. The process has been further accelerated due to the digital push given by Covid-19. India has very high digital adoption rate and hence Indian companies are compelled to migrate to cloud due to various reasons. Shifting legacy systems to cloud platforms is a complex and costly process.
No wonder, 46% of senior industry professionals polled opined that Legacy architecture was the greatest challenge they were facing while migrating to cloud systems. A marginally lesser number of these respondents – 44%- however, cited security as the major hurdle to cloud migration. About 10% of the respondents said budget was the prime obstacle for them.
