In a pioneering move towards modernized governance, Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma of Samba inaugurated eSevak, an AI-powered WhatsApp chatbot developed in collaboration with CoRover.ai, India’s leading AI startup. The launch of eSevak was part of a comprehensive suite of digital services aimed at streamlining administrative processes and enhancing citizen-government interactions.

eSevak represents a groundbreaking solution that empowers citizens to directly communicate grievances to department heads via WhatsApp, ensuring prompt redressal and efficient handling of public issues. This innovative platform promises to transform the landscape of citizen-government interactions by providing a seamless and accessible channel for grievance redressal.

The inauguration ceremony witnessed the introduction of several key digital interventions designed to improve service delivery and administrative efficiency. Among these initiatives were the installation of CCTV cameras across all tehsil offices, the implementation of e-office systems up to the naib tehsildar level, and the digitization of revenue records. Additionally, a state-of-the-art digital record room equipped with advanced scanning and printing facilities was unveiled, further enhancing administrative processes.

Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma expressed gratitude to all stakeholders involved in bringing this initiative to fruition, particularly acknowledging the collaborative efforts of the DIO NIC and the eSevak team at CoRover.ai.
