With an illustrious career spanning over 25 years,  Khiyani brings a wealth of experience from diverse sectors, including information technology and the steel industry. Notably, his two-decade tenure at IBM showcased his prowess in driving strategic projects and managing program life cycles, encompassing account management, delivery management, and people management.

In his new role, Khiyani will spearhead budgeting, resource development, and allocation, along with policy formation. He will also oversee software development, delivery, and deployment, leveraging digital solutions to streamline operations and elevate the customer experience. Reporting directly to G. S. Ravi Kumar, Chief Information Officer of Allcargo Gati Limited,  Khiyani’s appointment underscores the company’s commitment to bolstering its information technology leadership.

Pirojshaw (Phil) Sarkari, MD, and CEO of Gati Express and Supply Chain Pvt. Ltd. (GESCPL), expressed his delight at Khiyani’s appointment, emphasizing its strategic importance in fortifying the company’s technological capabilities. Khiyani’s academic credentials further complement his professional expertise, with a bachelor’s degree in metallurgy from the University of Madras, postgraduate studies in computer applications from IMT Ghaziabad, and software enterprise management from IIM Bangalore. Additionally, his certification as a data scientist underscores his proficiency in leveraging data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making.
