GEF and NODWIN Gaming team up to elevate esports and gaming opportunities in emerging markets

NODWIN Gaming partners with GEF as Portfolio Management Company for key emerging markets

NODWIN Gaming has entered into an agreement with the Global Esports Federation (GEF) to serve as the Portfolio Management Company (PMC) for emerging markets in South and Central Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and parts of Southeast Asia.

This partnership highlights NODWIN Gaming’s commitment to fostering the growth of gaming and esports globally by leveraging its expertise in emerging markets.

The GEF is dedicated to promoting technological advancements and enhancing user, fan, and brand experiences to drive innovation in gaming while ensuring sustainable growth and inspiring the world’s connected youth.

Deal behind the collaboration

Under this collaboration, NODWIN Gaming has secured exclusive rights to organize and market GEF-licensed esports events in more than 20 countries, including India, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Dubai, Bahrain, Jordan, Thailand, Vietnam, and the entire continent of Africa.

Additionally, as a PMC, NODWIN Gaming has non-exclusive rights to host GEF-licensed events globally, facilitating collaborative opportunities with its subsidiaries and strategic partners worldwide.

Akshat Rathee, Co-Founder and Managing Director of NODWIN Gaming, commented on the partnership, stating, “We believe that our collaboration with GEF will enhance esports opportunities for the youth in these developing regions.”

Mario Cilenti, Chief Operating Officer at GEF, also expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, saying, ” NODWIN Gaming’s expertise and experience make them well-suited to further the Global Esports Federation’s mission and engage with esports communities in key growth regions.”

NODWIN Gaming’s recent acquisition of Turkey-based Ninja Gaming positions the company to expand its presence in Turkey, the Middle East, and North Africa. Meanwhile, its Singapore-based experiential marketing firm, Branded, will focus on the Asia Pacific region.

Additionally, NODWIN Gaming’s equity investment in Freaks 4U Gaming, a gaming and esports agency in Germany, opens up potential opportunities for developing GEF-licensed events in non-exclusive regions through the agency’s extensive network in Europe and beyond.
