World Economic Forum- Maharashtra gets investment worth Rs. 45,900 crore on Day 1

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Industry Minister Uday Samant sign MOU

Davos, Dt.16th: Maharashtra has successfully bagged investment with Rs. 45, 900 on the very first day of the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting held in Davos, Switzerland, informed Shri. Uday Samant, Industry Minister, Maharashtra.

Shri. Samant said, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde arrived today at Davos for the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting and visited Maharashtra Pavilion. Maharashtra Pavilion will serve as a showcase of developments in the state and MOUs will be signed here. Various MOUs were signed today in the presence of CM Eknath Shinde and these investments will bring about 10000 direct employment.

Principal Secretary Harshdeep Kamble, MIDC CEO Vipin Sharma, T. Krishna, Shrey Aeren, Ashish Nawade, Stephan, and others were present on the occasion.

1. Greenko Energy Projects Pvt.Ltd- Investment of Rs. 12,000 crores

2. Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Orenda India- Investment of Rs. 16,000 crores

3. ICP Investments/ Indus Capital -Investment of Rs. 16,000 crores

4. Rukhi Foods- Investment of Rs. 250 crores

5. Nipro Pharma Packaging India Pvt. Ltd. – Investment of Rs. 1650 crores
