The new campus of Samsung Semiconductor India Research (SSIR) features a modern, open-plan layout across four floors, encouraging collaboration and agility.
Samsung Semiconductor India Research (SSIR) has inaugurated its latest Research and Development facility in Bengaluru, marking a significant advancement in its mission to spearhead cutting-edge semiconductor research in India.
This expansion underscores SSIR’s commitment to meeting the escalating demands for advanced infrastructure while bolstering its presence in the country. Situated at Bagmane Capital Tech Park in Angkor-West, this new facility is the second office for SSIR in Bengaluru and boasts a substantial capacity to accommodate approximately sixteen hundred professionals across its sprawling 1,60,000 square feet campus spanning four floors.
The newly unveiled SSIR campus embraces a contemporary, open-plan layout spread across four floors, fostering collaboration and adaptability among its workforces. The design incorporates designated hot-desking areas to promote workforce flexibility.
Moreover, the facility features over sixty state-of-the-art meeting rooms to facilitate seamless communication. Complementing these amenities are a fully equipped cafeteria, medical facilities, dedicated nap rooms, and recreational areas aimed at rejuvenating employees. Additionally, the provision of transport shuttle services adds to the convenience, ensuring a comprehensive work experience for SSIR employees.

Currently boasting a workforce of over four thousand and five hundred employees, SSIR plans to further augment its team by adding over seven hundred individuals, comprising both fresh graduates and lateral hires, across various teams in India.
