Adopting smart grid technologies also enables facilities to draw power from the grid when renewable sources are insufficient and feed excess energy back into the grid when available.
  • Smart Sensors for Energy Efficiency:  Gadgets like smart sensors can monitor temperature, humidity, light levels, and occupancy, allowing for better control and optimisation of energy usage. Real-time data from these sensors can be used to enforce energy-saving measures, such as automated lighting, HVAC, and ventilation systems that adjust based on actual demand.
