Gamitronics CEO Rajat Ojha partners with Odisha Government to establish state-of-the-art training facility

In a significant development for the creative and technological landscape of Odisha, Gamitronics CEO Rajat Ojha has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the state government to establish a state-of-the-art training facility. This partnership aims to focus on upskilling and expanding opportunities in the eastern belt, leveraging Odisha’s rich cultural heritage and technological potential.

The MoU signing ceremony took place in the presence of the Honorable Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik of Odisha during the 2-Day NUA Odisha Global Summit on Growth & Employment held in Bhubaneswar. Rajat Ojha expressed his gratitude, stating, “When on a mission, having the right partners along the way is crucial.”

He emphasized his belief in Odisha’s potential to lead the creative industry, backed by stable governance, promising policies, and a vibrant community of artisans.

The summit, organized by the Department of Skill Development and Technical Education (SDTE) of the Government of Odisha, witnessed participation from over 500 delegates (as per Odia news portal Prameyanews), including industry leaders, HR heads, academia, and skill sector stakeholders. Through 16 diverse sessions, the event fostered insightful discussions and laid the groundwork for long-term growth and employment strategies in the state .

Odisha’s Principal Secretary of the SDTE Department, Usha Padhee, highlighted the state’s industrial policy and potential across sectors like IT, manufacturing, FMCG, and service. She emphasized the state’s commitment to preparing its youth for the future through initiatives like ‘Skilled In Odisha.’

Key figures like Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and Minister of Skill Development and Technical Education Pritiranjan Gharai reiterated Odisha’s commitment to becoming a global hub for skill development. Sessions on women’s empowerment and insights from industry veterans like Dr. Santrupt Misra were also discussed. The summit concluded with the release of a coffee table book showcasing nano-entrepreneur stories from Odisha’s hinterlands.

Rajat Ojha’s announcement of the partnership with the Odisha government garnered attention, particularly for its focus on leveraging the state’s cultural heritage and technological advancements.
