The innovation center supposed to enhance cybersecurity capabilities.

eSentire, a leading Managed Detection and Response (MDR) authority, has unveiled its new Technology Innovation Center in Bengaluru, India. Operated under the legal entity eSentire India Private Limited, this new facility aims to bolster eSentire’s global presence and tap into India’s rich pool of engineering talent. This move is part of eSentire’s strategy to accelerate the development of its Atlas XDR Cloud Platform, focusing on key areas like low-code orchestration and automation, generative AI, and furthering its proprietary intellectual property in cybersecurity.

The center’s primary objectives include:

Scaling Security Expertise: Utilizing low-code orchestration and automation to enhance the efficiency and capabilities of eSentire’s security analysts in thwarting cyberattacks.

Augmenting Workflows with AI: Implementing generative AI to improve investigation and response workflows for both end-users and the eSentire Security Operations Center (SOC).

Advancing Intellectual Property: Continuing the development of eSentire’s proprietary technology to provide comprehensive security detection, investigation, and response across various data sources such as network, endpoint, log, cloud, and identity.

Dustin Hillard, eSentire’s Chief Technology Officer, and Raghunath Konda, VP of Engineering, spearheaded the launch of this new center and are responsible for hiring 50 skilled software engineers in India. These engineers will play a pivotal role in enhancing the capabilities of the Atlas XDR Cloud Platform.

Dustin Hillard commented, “India boasts a dynamic cybersecurity talent pool, particularly in areas like cloud security and generative AI. Our new Innovation Center in Bengaluru will enable eSentire to harness this local expertise, accelerating the advancements of our XDR platform. We remain committed to delivering industry-leading MDR value with 24/7 SOCaaS, security monitoring, and incident handling on a global scale.”

eSentire’s dedication to safeguarding organizations from cyber threats across diverse attack surfaces, be it on-premises or in the cloud, is powered by its Atlas XDR Cloud Platform. Over the past decade, this platform has accumulated and analyzed vast amounts of data from daily investigations and threat hunting activities, making it the world’s most extensive expert investigation and response dataset. With a unique learning mechanism that amplifies every positive SOC investigation across its customer base, eSentire can swiftly shield its clients from emerging threat patterns.

Recognized as an industry frontrunner in MDR and SOCaaS, eSentire stands out for its unparalleled ability to defend global businesses against both known and unknown threats. Recent accolades include being ranked among the top three MDR Providers in Europe by The Forrester Wave and receiving multiple leadership recognitions from KuppingerCole’s 2023 Worldwide Leadership Compass Report.

The inauguration of the Technology Innovation Center in India comes on the heels of eSentire’s successful service expansion in the Middle East. It underscores the company’s dedication to local hiring and its ongoing commitment to providing 24/7 compliant MDR cybersecurity services tailored to regional needs.
