Chandrayaan-3 mission: All you need to know about the launch

According to information, ISRO has identified three key goals for the Chandrayaan-3 mission

According to information released by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Chandrayaan-3, India’s third lunar mission, will be launched on either July 12 or July 13 at 2:30 pm.

According to IANS, the spacecraft will set out on a mission that will last just over a month, with the intended lunar landing anticipated to occur around August 23.

ISRO Chairman S. Somanath has stated that the organisation wants to launch the mission as soon as feasible, possibly on July 12 or July 13. The exact launch date is still being determined. The mission’s estimated budget is approximately 615 crore rupees.

According to the report, work is being done at the Andhra Pradesh rocket port at Sriharikota for the Chandrayaan-3 mission. The spacecraft has been put through testing and is now protected by the payload fairing or heat shield of the rocket. This mission’s main objective is to successfully land the lander on the surface of the moon, which will be followed by the deployment of a rover to conduct a variety of experiments.

The forthcoming Chandrayaan-3 moon mission will include the SHAPE (Spectro-polarimetry of Habitable Planet Earth) payload, which represents a significant advancement. This high-tech apparatus has been created especially for conducting in-depth research and gathering useful data on Earth’s spectral and polarimetric measurements from lunar orbit.

According to information, ISRO has identified three key goals for the Chandrayaan-3 mission. These goals include accomplishing a successful soft landing on the Moon, showcasing the rover’s mobility on the lunar surface, and performing on-site scientific studies.
