Women should be encouraged to lead in all sectors: Babita Phogat

Indian female wrestler of Commonwealth Games Gold fame, Babita Phogat, speaking at The Economic Times Global Business Summit recounted her experiences of childhood and shared her story of how she came to join the sport of wrestling.

While looking back at her life, Phogat recapitulated the evil norms of society and how women were discriminated against. Pitching for strong women’s rights, the Olympian said that women were no less than men in any field and added that she wanted to influence other women through her journey.
