Canva, the world’s leading all-in-one visual communication platform, has announced its acquisition of Affinity, the renowned creative software suite tailored for professional photo editing, graphic design, illustration, and page layout. This strategic move amplifies Canva’s ambition to develop the most comprehensive set of visual communication tools globally.

Canva has 175 million users across 190 countries, has catered to the 99% of knowledge workers without formal design training, with Affinity’s professional design software integrated into its ecosystem, Canva aims to serve designers at every skill level and stage of their design journey.

The acquisition not only broadens Canva’s user base but also propels its enterprise aspirations. It envisions a future where professional designers can utilize Affinity’s advanced tools to create designs and templates that can seamlessly scale across organizations via Canva.

Affinity has garnered the trust of over 3 million users worldwide. This acquisition further enhances Canva’s offerings by tapping into the professional design market.
