Adobe and Microsoft collaborate to enhance marketers’ productivity with AI capabilities

Adobe and Microsoft partner to connect Adobe Experience Cloud workflows and insights with Microsoft Copilot to deliver generative-AI powered capabilities that enable marketers to increase collaboration, efficiency and creativity.

Adobe  and Microsoft have unveiled plans to integrate Adobe Experience Cloud workflows and insights into Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365. This strategic partnership aims to eliminate application and data silos, allowing marketers to manage their daily tasks more efficiently.

The demand for personalized content across various channels like social media and mobile has surged, putting pressure on marketers to increase efficiency and productivity. According to Amit Ahuja, Senior Vice President of Digital Experience Business at Adobe, marketers spend a significant amount of time navigating through different Adobe and Microsoft applications. This partnership aims to streamline these daily tasks across planning, collaboration, and campaign execution.

Jared Spataro, Corporate Vice President of AI at Work at Microsoft, echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the shared goal of empowering marketers to focus on creating impactful campaigns and enhancing customer experiences. By integrating contextual marketing insights from Adobe Experience Cloud and Dynamics 365 into Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365, the partnership aims to break down barriers and deliver exceptional results.

The marketing discipline is complex, requiring specialized roles and a variety of tools for designing brand content, managing campaigns, tracking audience insights, and reporting results. This complexity often leads to siloed working environments and disrupts creativity. A recent survey conducted by Microsoft revealed that 43% of marketing and communications professionals find switching between digital applications disruptive to their creativity.

To address these challenges, Adobe and Microsoft will focus on providing initial capabilities that cater to the needs of marketers who work across multiple teams internally and externally. These capabilities will include:

  • Strategic Insights in the Flow of Work
  • Data-Driven Content Creation
  • In-Context Notifications and Summaries

By integrating Adobe Experience Cloud workflows and insights into Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365, the partnership aims to streamline daily tasks, break down silos, and empower marketers to focus on what matters most—creating impactful campaigns and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
