The world’s richest person Bernard Arnault meets his children for lunch inside a private dining room at the headquarters of LVMH to discuss strategies, according to a report by the Wall Street Journal. The monthly lunch lasts 90 minutes, and the French businessman begins by reading the discussion topics from his iPad. According to the WSG report, he then goes around the table and asks his five adult children for advice.

The 74-year-old billionaire consults with his children on specific company executives or whether it’s time for a change at one of LVMH’s many brands. Arnault has dropped no indications about his choice for a successor, insisting that the selection will be made solely on the basis of merit, according to the WSG report.

Bernard Arnault is a French billionaire businessman. He is the chairman and CEO of LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, commonly referred to as LVMH, which is a multinational luxury goods conglomerate. LVMH owns several of the world’s most iconic luxury brands, including Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, Sephora, Givenchy, and Bulgari, among others.

According to a Forbes report, Arnault has amassed a fortune of $211 billion, making him the richest person in the world.
