‘Vladimir Putin would be assassinated, if..’ Elon Musk’s startling comment on X

Tesla CEO Elon Musk reportedly commented on X Spaces, part of his social media platform X, this Monday

Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, expressed his belief that Russian President Vladimir Putin is facing significant pressure to conclude the conflict in Ukraine. Musk reportedly suggested that there is a threat of an attempt on Putin’s life if he were to withdraw from the ongoing war. These statements were made during a conversation on X Spaces with Republican Senators who opposed a proposed bill for increased wartime assistance to Ukraine.

On X Spaces, a platform within Elon Musk’s social media network X, the billionaire CEO of Tesla Inc., Elon Musk, shared his remarks during a discussion on Monday. The conversation involved critics of a Senate bill aimed at offering additional support to Ukraine in its ongoing struggle against the extensive Russian invasion that commenced two years ago.

Musk was in the company of Ron Johnson from Wisconsin, JD Vance from Ohio, and Mike Lee from Utah. Additionally, Vivek Ramaswamy, a former Republican presidential candidate, and David Sacks, a co-founder of Craft Ventures LLC, were part of the discussion.

Musk asserted that providing continued U.S. assistance and prolonging the conflict would not be beneficial for Ukraine. Additionally, he addressed accusations of supporting Putin in the war, deeming them “absurd.” Musk pointed out that his companies, specifically referring to Starlink, have likely played a significant role in undermining Russia more than anything else.

Musk pointed to SpaceX’s contribution of Starlink internet service to Ukraine, highlighting its crucial role in the country’s communication infrastructure following Russia’s invasion. He also noted that SpaceX’s activities have impacted Russia’s space launch business by diverting business away from them.

These perspectives stand in stark contrast to the positions of President Joe Biden and Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell. They argue that supporting Ukraine’s defense against the Kremlin aligns with America’s interests and serves as a deterrent against other autocrats initiating wars.
