NDTV founders Prannoy, Radhika Roy resign from RRPRH board

RRPR Holding Private Limited, the promoter company of NDTV, owns 29.18% of the news channel, which is being acquired by the Adani Group

Prannoy Roy and Radhika Roy, of New Delhi Television Limited (NDTV), resigned as directors of RRPR Holding Private Limited (RRPRH) on November 29, NDTV said in a statement to the Bombay Stock Exchange. Prannoy Roy serves as the Chairman of NDTV, while Radhika Roy serves as an Executive Director.

The NDTV promoter group vehicle, RRPL Holding, owns 29.18 percent of the company, which is being acquired by the Adani group.

The board of RRPR Holding has approved the appointment of Sudipta Bhattacharya, Sanjay Pugalia, and Senthil Sinniah Chengalvarayan as directors on its board with immediate effect, the statement said.

“NDTV’s promoter group vehicle RRPRH has approved Prannoy Roy and Radhika Roy’s resignation as directors on the Board of RRPRH, with effect from the close of business hours of November 29, 2022,” the statement read.
