Kratos Gaming Network (KGeN), formerly known as IndiGG, has unveiled an ambitious nationwide campaign aimed at enlightening and empowering the new generation of gamers about the evolving world of Web3 gaming and its myriad benefits. The initiative seeks to educate enthusiasts about the potential income opportunities and alternative career paths available in the gaming industry.

Over the course of six months, the campaign will span across major cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Indore, and Kolkata, as well as various tier 1, 2, and 3 cities, targeting communities and students from numerous colleges and universities. Through a series of engaging activities, KGeN aims to raise awareness among young gamers, emphasizing gaming not merely as a pastime but as a gateway to future careers and personal growth.

Central to the campaign is the promotion of blockchain technology, which underpins the Web3 gaming ecosystem. Blockchain technology enhances player ownership by enabling gamers to have true ownership of in-game assets, which can be bought, sold, and traded across different games and platforms. KGeN’s platform has already facilitated monetization for over 1 million gamers, with expectations of a 20x increase in user base.

A key component of the campaign is the introduction of the Proof-of-Gamer (PoG) engine, touted as the world’s largest gamer reputation program. This innovative engine allows gamers to have ownership and control over their data on the blockchain, paving the way for unprecedented data ownership and monetization opportunities.

Ishank Gupta, Elder Member Council at Kratos Gaming Network, emphasized the transformative potential of data ownership for gamers, describing it as a game-changer for the industry. He stated, “With this national campaign, we intend to empower gamers and make them aware of the new opportunities and possibilities. Data ownership is going to be revolutionary for the industry, and the potential applications extend far beyond gaming.”

KGeN envisions building an ecosystem that serves as the global hub for gamer data, owned and controlled by gamers themselves. At the core of this ecosystem lies the Proof of Gamer (PoG) engine, allowing gamers to build, own, flex, and monetize their reputation. Game publishers can leverage this data framework to engage with relevant gamer cohorts and enhance their gaming experiences.

The gaming industry’s exponential growth is underscored by recent projections, with the market size expected to reach $8.6 billion by 2027, marking a substantial increase from $2.6 billion in 2022. Similarly, the global Web3 gaming industry is poised to grow at a CAGR of 18.7 percent from 2023 to 2033, ushering in a new era of opportunities and economic growth.
