Falabella, a dynamic retail conglomerate in Latin America and a global pioneer in reshaping the retail and technology landscape, has announced the appointment of Ashutosh Dabral as the Managing Director for Falabella, India.
In his previous role Ashutosh was the Chief Product & Technology Officer at Tata CLiQ overseeing product, tech, and analytics.
With a career spanning over twenty years, he brings extensive expertise in dynamic sectors such as Consumer Internet, E-commerce, and FinTech. His notable roles at Yahoo, Target, Dell and AOL, attest to his prowess in navigating complex global technology, product management, and analytics landscapes.
Across his previous positions, Ashutosh played an integral role in developing products that resonated with millions globally. His leadership was crucial in driving monetization strategies for Yahoo Search, enhancing search and browsing experiences on Target.com, and spearheading various initiatives for AOL.
Ashish Grover, CIO of Falabella Group, emphasized Falabella India’s significance as a pivotal tech hub for niche technology and transformative endeavors. Ashutosh’s appointment as the Managing Director is poised to accelerate Falabella’s transformational journey in Latin American markets.
Since its inception in 2018, Falabella India has emerged as a hub of innovation and technological advancement within the wider Falabella group. Operating from its innovation center in Bangalore, which currently houses around 450 developers, the focus is primarily on cutting-edge technology and transformative initiatives for the group.
