9 new Vande Bharat trains to be rolled out soon, check routes here

In a significant development aimed at enhancing connectivity across the nation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently flagged off nine new Vande Bharat trains. This initiative holds immense promise for both passengers and the Indian rail network and spans across 11 states: Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Bihar, West Bengal, Kerala, Odisha, Jharkhand and Gujarat, as per PTI.

The launch ceremony, presided over by Prime Minister Modi, saw the inauguration of these Vande Bharat trains, connecting various religious and tourist destinations. The railways rolled out its first orange-coloured Vande Bharat Express from Kasargod to Thiruvananthapuram. This move aligns with the government’s vision to promote tourism and provide efficient transportation options for pilgrims and tourists alike.

Over the next two months, it is expected that more such Vande Bharat trains will be rolled out. These trains are equipped with modern amenities and are expected to offer a comfortable and convenient travel experience. The introduction of these trains results from valuable passenger feedback, indicating a commitment to improving the quality of rail travel in India.

The current 25 Vande Bharat Express trains are known for their speed, comfort, and energy-efficient features. With the addition of these nine new trains, the government aims to further strengthen India’s rail infrastructure. As per multiple reports, the following are the routes of the upcoming Vande Bharat trains:

1. Jaipur – Udaipur (Rajasthan)

2. Jamnagar – Ahmedabad (Gujarat)

3. Kasaragod – Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala)

4. Patna – Howrah (Bihar and West Bengal)

5. Ranchi – Howrah (Jharkhand and West Bengal)

6. Rourkela – Bhubaneswar – Puri (Odisha)

7. Secunderabad – Bengaluru (Telangana and Karnataka)

8. Tirunelveli – Madurai – Chennai (Tamil Nadu)

9. Vijayawada-Chennai (Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu)
