Movate partners with Loyola College to establish advanced robotics lab

The lab will allocate 600 square feet for real-time testing purposes, with an additional 150 square feet designated for storage.

Movate, formerly known as CSS Corp has recently inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Loyola College to establish an Advanced Robotics Lab.

Loyola College, ranked 7th nationally in the NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework) 2023, is slated to host this state-of-the-art robotics lab within its campus in Chennai. This facility will be outfitted with advanced AI and IoT technologies, with the aim of equipping students with the latest tools and skills in the dynamic field of robotics.

Spanning a total area of 750 square feet, the laboratory will allocate 600 square feet for real-time testing purposes, with an additional 150 square feet designated for storage. It will feature well-equipped robotic kits, a drone kit, 3D printers, projectors, and the requisite computing power to support students’ endeavors. The lab will serve as a platform for students to gain hands-on experience with advanced technologies. Movate is also investing in specialized training for faculty members to ensure optimal utilization of the lab’s resources, empowering students and preparing them for the future.

Movate has partnered with Yagen Robotics, a company specializing in manufacturing educational robotics kits tailored for various age groups and expertise levels. Yagen Robotics holds recognition from the Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion and the Ministry of Commerce & Industries, Government of India, affirming its commitment to quality and compliance with government standards in the educational robotics domain.
