“India is touching new heights and transcending them too” says PM Modi at Aero India 2023

The largest air exhibition in Asia, Aero India 2023, was Inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi today in Bengaluru. The 14th edition of the event will showcase homegrown tools and technologies to create alliances with international businesses.

“Aero India” will present the nation as a rapidly developing centre for producing military aircraft, helicopters, machinery, and cutting-edge avionics.

PM Modi emphasised that Aero India 2023 is not only a show but a “reflection of India’s self-confidence.”

At the opening ceremony at Bengaluru’s Air Force Station, Yelahanka, Prime Minister Modi unveiled commemorative stamps and remarked: “Bengaluru sky is bearing testimony to the capabilities of New India. This new height is the reality of New India. India is touching new heights and transcending them too.”

He added that Aero India 2023 is a “shining example of India’s growing capabilities and the presence of more than 100 nations here shows the trust that the entire world has in India. More than 700 exhibitors from India and the world are participating. It has broken all past records”.

The Aero India exhibition “reflects a fresh approach of New India,” he added, emphasising this point further.

The Prime Minister claims that India is now a prospective defence partner rather than just a market for global defence businesses. “This partnership is even with those nations that are much ahead in the defence sector, nations that are looking for a dependable partner for their defence requirements,” he said.

“The new India of the twenty-first century won’t pass up any opportunities or fail to put out any effort. We’re all set. With the aid of reforms, we are bringing revolution to every sector,” PM Modi emphasised that India has begun exporting defence gear to 75 countries around the world after being the world’s top exporter of defence goods for decades.

“Aero India’s deafening roar echoes India’s message of Reform, Perform and Transform”, the Prime Minister remarked.
