HCLTech to spearhead Oriola Corporation’s digital transformation in the Nordic Region

To expedite Oriola's business transformation, HCLTech will work in close partnership with SAP, utilizing its product engineering expertise.

HCLTech has recently been chosen by Oriola Corporation, a prominent health and wellbeing company in the Nordic region, to propel its digital transformation and amplify customer experiences.

HCLTech is set to implement a fresh SAP S/4HANA and analytics framework, which will be hosted on Microsoft Azure. This initiative aims to revolutionize Oriola’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) and enterprise warehouse management (EWM) systems across Sweden and Finland. By leveraging RISE with SAP, HCLTech plans to deliver a comprehensive, end-to-end global experience platform (GxP)-compliant and validated solution tailored for Oriola.

Transitioning to an agile, cloud-based ERP platform will empower Oriola to streamline and modernize its business operations. This move will not only optimize the application stack but also reduce IT operating costs significantly.

Mikael Nurmi, Chief Digital Officer at Oriola, expressed his optimism about the project’s strategic importance. He stated, “This initiative will enable Oriola to more effectively address future customer and business requirements. It will foster enhanced collaboration across the organization, bolster transparency, and facilitate business management in a cross-market operating model. Adopting a unified system will fortify our processes and grant us access to shared data, both of which are pivotal in enhancing customer service.”

Pankaj Tagra, Corporate Vice President for Europe and Africa at HCLTech, commented on the collaboration, “We are eager to expedite Oriola’s business transformation through our robust partnership with SAP and our innovative product engineering capabilities. It’s a privilege to be a part of Oriola’s quest to lead the way in advanced pharmaceutical distribution and advisory services across product lifecycles. This collaboration also marks a significant milestone in our business expansion within the Nordic region and across the global life sciences and pharma sector.”

HCLTech boasts a rich legacy as an SAP Global Strategic Services Partner, boasting over 25 years of expertise in orchestrating intricate SAP transformation programs. With a global consultant base exceeding 10,000 professionals, HCLTech maintains a robust presence with local offices and consultants spanning the Americas, Europe, Asia, and Africa.

This collaboration between HCLTech and Oriola Corporation promises to set new benchmarks in digital transformation within the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors in the Nordic region. As both companies align their strengths and capabilities, they are poised to deliver unparalleled value to customers and stakeholders alike.
