Throughout many cultures, from ancient times, Sound has been used as a technology and tool for healing and therapeutic purposes. Due to its universal nature, it is an innate ability for the human body to resonate with certain sound frequencies which allow access to various worldly and mystical dimensions.

24 of our team members had the opportunity to experience the profoundness of resonating with a uniquely crafted sound journey designed by the Immersive Sound Experience team. Founder, Swapnil Gawde and Co Founders Homi, Jayesh and Sandeep have a collective experience of over 50 years in the fields of wellness and music. They customise every  session as per the requirement and vibe of  the space and/or participants.

The instruments that are used for these Sound Journeys are tuned to specific frequencies that enable participants to experience sounds in ways they’ve never experienced before.

The session started off with a quick introduction followed by a guided meditation process (inspired from the modalities of breath work and Yoga Nidra) setting a conducive atmosphere for the Sound Healing Journey in which instruments like Resonance Pipes, Svarveena, Air chymes, Ocean Drum, Rain stick etc were used. An hour later the session culminated by guiding the participants back from a trance like state into being aware of their surroundings.

Post the session, the energy in the room was palpable with smiles and cheerful conversations flaring all over. On asking how the session was for them, some expressed that they felt waves of sensations moving through their entire body, while some shared that they could picturise colours and various landscapes on hearing these sounds. Someone thanked me for getting rid of a headache., and even though some participants slipped into quick snoozes and snores, the majority experienced deep states of relaxation and meditativeness.

It was indeed a very unique experience for us all and the perfect way to wrap up the week.

The Immersive Sound Experience team’s core purpose is to spread the message of well-being through the healing powers of sounds.

Furthermore, The team shared their excitement about designing new themes that will empower future participants to fall back on these Immersive Experiences, use them as practical daily tools and support systems to lead better and wholesome lives.
