ET GBS 2023: PM Narendra Modi will be the chief guest speaker

The Economic Times Global Business Summit (ET GBS) will be held in New Delhi on the 17th and 18th of February 2023, at the Taj Palace. The conference is a tradition that attracts worldwide entrepreneurs, Indian business leaders, CEOs, and union ministers, among others, and allows attendees to network, discuss, and debate. This year, participants will have the chance to hear Prime Minister Narendra Modi make what has become nearly an annual state of the economy address.

During the first GBS in 2015, Prime Minister Narendra Modi first presented his economic agenda for India at this event. He stressed the importance of “speed, scale, and sensitivity” in spreading the benefits of prosperity to more people.

PM Modi, along with seven other ministers, previously spoke at the ET GBS Summit in 2020.

The welcome for the event on the GBS website reads, “India has entered the ‘Amrit Kaal’ of its independence. The next 25 years will not only be a period of national development and glory, but also an occasion when the country will play an important role in giving direction to the rest of the world. To further the bold vision of our honourable Prime Minister of India of becoming a USD 5 trillion-dollar economy, the nation’s business leaders, state governments, and visionaries will have to collectively work towards this singular agenda and drive economic change.”
