Don’t see any threat from China, Rafale jets delivery has started: Rajnath Singh
The Minister for Defence, Rajnath Singh, speaking at The Economic Times Global Business Summit said that India doesn’t see any security threat from China in the near future. The minister added that he has met with his Chinese counterpart and they both plan to meet at the Indo-China border to signify the peace between two countries. Speaking about defence budgets, he also said that the delivery of Rafale jets had started and the country will acquire 36 planes in total.
The minister also spoke about the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and clarified that citizenship will not be given to people on the basis of religion and there is no need for citizens of India to be afraid.
