ChatGPT’s predictive capabilities and ability to create code frameworks make it an incredibly useful tool for developers. Its capacity to assist in writing better code from scratch and predict potential issues during production support and operations can save businesses a significant amount of time and money. According to reports, AI is expected to do 80% of coding in the IT industry, indicating that ChatGPT has the potential to be a valuable and disruptive tool for IT professionals in the future.

Is it a boon or bane?

ChatGPT will have a positive impact on the IT industry. It can help businesses complete unfinished projects with increased automation and efficiency, leading to higher profitability. However, concerns about the potential misuse of generative AI, such as the spread of false information, do exist.
