5 bold predictions for a Post-Covid world that will impact sales drastically

Prediction #1: Salespeople with an Accountability Mindset will thrive in the midst of all the blame-gaming and finger-pointing that’s happening in the midst of this crisis

Accountable people have the emotional maturity and internal backbone to take responsibility for their own actions and choices. They don’t shift blame to external factors.  There’s no finger-pointing, blame-gaming or playing-the-victim thinking. An accountability mindset focuses on “what” one might do, especially in times of chaos and uncertainty.

Prediction #2: Salespeople with a Creative Solution Mindset will bring breakthrough ideas to both their own company, as well as their client.

The challenging “new normal” economic climate will cause many salespeople to see a dead-end. Breakthrough results will be available to those who consider new possibilities, options, and connections when they switch on their creativity.

Prediction #3: Salespeople with an Ownership Mindset will exhibit breakthrough results

Do you know people who expect others (you) to come up with solutions on their behalf? This is a sure sign of an entitlement mindset. On the flip-side, salespeople with an ownership mindset own their response to their circumstances, and are determined to leverage their knowledge, talents, strengths, and connections to move theme forward towards their goals.

Prediction #4: Salespeople with an Action Mindset will blaze the trail for others in their industry

Some salespeople seem to talk, talk, talk. They talk, but shy away from taking action or trying anything new.  On the other hand, your Action Mindset team members move from talking to doing on a regular basis. They wake up every morning with a To-do list that will give them move towards their short, mid, and long-range goals. They are willing to take risks and stretch their comfort zones to move forward every day.

Prediction #5: Salespeople with a Results Mindset will transform the way business is done now and in the future

Those with a results mindset have clarity about how to set and reach their goals. They do not get bogged down thinking about what can’t be done. They are focused on achieving the goals and taking action to deliver the results they are envisioning.
